Riverside Ridge Retreat

This is not only a spectacular custom home, but the landscaping is a masterpiece! The driveway is crafted with light grey Permacon Mondrian Plus pavers in Scandina Grey with the perimeter outlined in a smaller contrasting Newport dark grey paver. Armour stone added a touch of rugged elegance to the landscape of this home by creating an unobtrusive retaining wall down the west side of the home and its front gardens. The gardens are filled with hydrangeas, boxwoods and yews, to create a traditional, classic garden design that allows a symmetrical layout.

However stunning the front of this house is, the real gem is hidden on the waterside. This house is nestled on a raised cliff overlooking Lake Ontario. Our homeowners wanted a backyard that had everything, and we delivered!

The in-ground pool deck was constructed using beautiful interlocking Mondrian Pavers, again in Scandina Grey and supported by a stunning stone retaining wall that adds functionality as well as an element of natural charm to the back yard. Hampton Limestone was used for the steps and the pool coping for a sleek and clean look. A lattice paver patio is off to the side of an oversized covered patio that has full stone pillars matching the retaining wall and provides shelter for the homeowners from the elements.

The meandering flagstone walkway leads the homeowners and guests to a built-in firepit that overlooks a spectacular view of Lake Ontario.
